Movie Night: "Green: The New Red, White and Blue"

The next installment of "Movies That Make A Difference" at the World Resources SimCenter downtown is Tuesday, May 8th. This month's movie is "Green: The New Red, White and Blue". A short description of the film:

Award winning author and journalist Thomas L. Friedman travels the globe to unravel the tangled web of where Americans get energy, and reveals what viewers can do about their carbon footprint. Friedman visits the front lines of an energy revolution that is just taking shape, and reveals what is at stake for not only America but the world.

Additional details:

-Drinks and snacks will be served
-A discussion will follow the showing
- Parking is available at Horton Plaza (3 hours free with validation in the mall) or in metered street spaces (free after 6:00 pm).

    Was an amazing film -- Friedman has a talent for simplifying complex situations and putting things into perspective.

    movie was blatantly outdated but served it's purpose to start a real discussion about what is state of the art...so worthwhile to attend event..now i want to see followup and i hope the meetup will share email information of the people who attended...and thnak you for your putting on the event...I like the transparncy of the group
