UPDATE: LIST NOW FINAL. No more RSVP's. Those who did not get their full name & citizenship to me had to be removed per GA security rules. Sorry.

Tour will be about 45 minutes, plus casual lunch afterwards in LJ Village area for those interested.

Parking is apparently confusing but we will end up going to "DIII" building with tokamak.

Cameras are allowed.

-Bill We are EXTREMELY fortunate to get a chance to tour an experimental FUSION Tokamak reactor at General Atomics. This is probably the most interesting and exciting opportunity our group has had! The location is near UCSD at Genesee and Torrey Pines.

More info here:

Huge thanks to Jose B for arranging us permission to tour this facility!

IMPORTANT NOTE: I will ask you to email me your full name and nationality to compile an attendance list which is required by US Government security restrictions.

A great tour. Very informative. Led by an employee who works at the fusion research reactor. He explained the current capabilities and challenges of the technology very well.

Fusion technology is key to greenhouse free, minimally contaminating, limitless energy. Great tour now all these researchers need is some serious funding.

Actually, I misspoke. Citizens of Cuba, Syria, North Korea and Sudan need prior approval.
