Video Opportunities for Photographers

PLEASE NOTE: RSVPs here on Meetup do not reserve your seat. Registration via Eventbrite (link at bottom) required to guarantee your spot!

The imaging world is rapidly changing and capturing video will have a direct impact on our ability to stay relevant with our clients. Join industry educator Victor Ha (now with the MAC Group US) as he explores some of the opportunities photographers have in exploring video as a content delivery medium. This two hour seminar will delve into the structure of an interview and how to get in and out of a first project easily. For those of you interested in capturing motion, this is a great opportunity for you to look at the whole opportunity, what it involves, and where you specifically fit into the process.

Victor Ha leads a video boot camp for HDSLR Video Shooter

Victor Ha is a former professional photographer that has transitioned into understanding the complexities of HDSLR filmmaking and has worked with numerous photographers in overcoming the various challenges of making a transition from shooting stills to capturing video. He takes a very practical approach in helping other photographers make the switch to HDSLR video by leveraging their photographic knowledge into filmmaking literacy. When he’s not helping others learn about filmmaking, Victor spends a majority of his time blogging and developing educational content for his workshops and seminars. He has a passion for photographic and video education and is excited to be allowed the chance to share his knowledge and experience with those he comes across.

This was an excellent and informative seminar, and Victor Ha is knowledgeable and articulate speaker - well worth it.

The meeting is at 6PM, but event brits says something about arriving at 8:30 am for interviews. I am confused. Please explain.

There's nothing on the Eventbrite page about interviews or 8:30am. The Networking Hour (with food/drink) is from 6pm-7pm and the program begins at 7pm. :-)

FYI registrations are coming through and Facebook, so we'll have more tickets reserved than you see RSVPs here on Meetup. Eventbrite is the only way to guarantee your seat!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
