Photo Shoot at the San Diego Safari Park

LET'S GO CAPTURE THE WILD SIDE AT OUR VERY OWN SAN DIEGO ZOO SAFARI PARK!

We will meet as a group at the entrance of the Safari Park 8:30 a.m., please be punctual. If we have 15 or more non-zoo members show up on time we can take advantage of the discounted group rate (details follow). Please have your cash for the group discounts ready to hand over to me before 8:45 a.m. I'll hand over an itinerary for each person attending, you will want to follow along as we will move about rather quickly. Be prepared to enter as soon as the gates open with your tickets or membership cards already in your hands at 9:00 a.m.
PLEASE TYPE INTO YOUR RSVP WHETHER YOU HAVE A MEMBERSHIP OR NOT.

The total walking path according to the parks information, add up to roughly five & a half miles. We will visit the animals and enjoy the gardens as a fast sampler tour. Around 11:00 a.m. is a great time to enjoy lunch as a group. You can either buy your lunch inside the Safari Park or bring your own. Around 3:40 p.m. we will rest our feet on the free tram ride. The park officials will announce closing time just before 5:00 p.m.

Thank you. Truthfully, again it is this camera. I love it. I only tweaked a little contrast and crop/sharpen. I will take a couple of them into Lr and see if I can do better.

I added my photos from my ipad, I hope that works, and In order to be more prompt I used Snapseed rather than Lr to crop or adjust WB. So i am anxious to see how they appear, too! If you haven't tried Snapseed, it is pretty darn cool and FREE right now.

okay, that was painful. I tried uploading them 3x before I started doing it just a couple at a time. I hope you aren't all deluged with multiple copies later tonight.... I will need to find a way to delete them!

I concur! A wonderful mix of direction and personal adventure. Sheila's prepared roadmap, timing, and checkpoints were a huge help. The tigers and lions and gorillas even cooperated! Some beautiful shots!

We had a great time at this meetup and are looking forward to many more weekend photo ops with this fun group of people. Sheila did a wonderful job setting the whole thing up and arranging the course timing. Huggs to Sheila! Pics to follow after I get them uploaded to my puter and sort through them.
