Currently Canon 7D (and a compact digital camera to record ideas for personal pencil/watercolor sketching and to capture ideas for the various community projects that I am working on at any particular time).
Anywhere that I find interesting cultural insights; can see/record people in candid settings; and wherever I find ideas/insights/examples for the work I do to ecnourage and support community-level collaboration and to bring the oft-opposing perspectives of arts, technology and ecology together to spark sustainable innovation. [Did especially enjoy a month in Spain and Turkey absorbing as much of the culture as I could.]
Ideas and insights from very talented photographers in interesting settings. Good, challenging conversation.
Yes, especially if the discussion is centered on understanding people, their culture and interests as well as insights on improving photographic skills.
Especially love the top photojournalists, though they are seriously undervalued and under appreciated by most "professional" art critics. The best produce a striking artistic vision of the human condition---a vision that is hard to find anywhere else except in the best painters and sculptors, but one that is sorely needed in our "modern" society.
Immersed in photography since being member and president of my high school Photography Club in the 1950s. If interested, can read my LinkedIn profile at http://www.linked....
