I had a Sony NEX but I've recently upgraded to the Canon 6D. I haven't had a chance to take it out for a spin yet (literally just got it a couple of days ago), but I very much look forward to figuring this thing out and getting some great shots.
I tend to travel quite a lot, but most recently I've started exploring central California (Monterey, etc.) and plan to go to Yosemite in late May. Other than that, I'm looking at taking a photo road trip up the Oregon coast, into Washington and on over to Vancouver, eh.
Meet like minded people, possibly gain a photo buddy and hopefully add a few new techniques to my repertoire.
Absolutely. I'm always up for a new adventure. I'd be defined as spontaneous and fun-loving by my friends if they were asked.
My friend Patrick McPheron is an up-and-coming photographer based in LA. I'd suggest Googling him if you have the time or visiting his website (interiorstate.com). He is so talented and so humble, definitely wishing the best for him in his career. Anyways, that's the first person that comes to mind, I'd say. I'm a big landscape photography fan, so obviously Ansel Adams comes to mind.
