Introduction

What photo equipment do you shoot with and do you have a website to share?

I use the Canon 40D (with a potpourri of lenses), a Casio 7.2 Z-750 and a 1.3 mp cellphone. I'm much more concerned with composition when I'm taking photos and the technicalities generally take a backseat. A good photo can be taken with ANY camera!!!

Favorite travel locations you've been to or would like to visit?

Visited the Middle East, Europe, South America, Carribean and around the U.S and Canada. Would love to return to Paris and New York to prowl the streets with my camera. Easter Island (Rapa Nui), off the coast of Chile, is at the very top of my list

What are you hoping to get out of this group? (Be as descriptive as you'd like)

I enjoy getting people together to see them indulging in their photographic passion. This is the perfect way to meet, share and enjoy. Going on location shoots with others gives me a chance to interact and share the passion photography brings to me.

Do you like to explore new places and meet new people? (Be as descriptive as you'd like)

I like to push the envelope at times and enjoy going places that hold adventure and mystery along with capturing those images in the decisive moment, ala Henri Cartier-Bresson. Always looking at life through a lens.

Who are your favorite photographers?

Weston, Bourke-White, Lartigue, Cartier Bresson and more...I am steeped in the history of photography from years of being around photographers, books on photography, attending gallery shows and being a volunteer at The Museum Of Photographic Arts.
