“ If you are good at playing softball, and like being outdoors for at least 2 hours every Sunday, and you're not sensitive to how others may be hurting your feelings, especially if those others are intentional about it.Go for it. In the course of the wild-goose chase I had to follow, on account of all the fields regularly used were unavailable,I did happen upon women's softball team practicing--the over 55 group; where I was invited to play with them, and asked to join their league. I didn't take the offer at that time, because, i was looking forward to playing with your group. Some good came out of the experience, because, I can still play softball (I had a job for many years that required me working on Sunday.) A special hello to Dan--you seem to be the last remnant of the team i enjoyed playing with every Sunday in the late 90's when I moved here. ”
