A simply terrific post-4th of July gathering under perfect weather conditions. Two great games at Doyle Recreation Center Field (Nobel was hosting soccer) and some new faces gracing positions in the field and in the batting lineups. Thanks to all for making it a super day and to those that gathered afterwards for lunch.
    •  It was fun reconnecting with some former teammates.
    •  I had a good time. Everyone was great. But, I do have two suggestions. First, rather than having EIGHT outfielders, I think that it would be more fun to only play with 4 outfielder, or 4 outfielders plus ONE rover. I would rather sit out a little more than play with so many people in the field. Second, I would suggest pitching to the other team & using a mat as a strike zone.
    •  I was welcomed in to play, I don't think Dan knew 34 people were going to show, but he couldn't have organized it better, having people sit out 1 inning at a time and everyone batting, wish I was able to stay for the second game, when alot of people left, and it was more like 20 people.
