Lake Elsinore Storm Game Giveaway night

  • Aug 7, 2010 · 5:00 PM
  • Near Best Buy

Join us as we head up to Lake Elsinore on Saturday August 7 to enjoy the Lake Elsinore Storm (Padres Minor League Team) play the Lancaster Jethawks (Houston Astros Minor League Team) at "The Diamond". There will be a Storm cap giveaway on this night for the first
1500 fans and it is a kid friendly event. If you have any questions or concerns, call Keith at[masked]-9525. ___________________________________________ We will meet at the Park & Ride on Mira Mesa Blvd (at I-15) behind Best Buy (across from The Edwards Cinema shopping center), in Mira Mesa at 5 PM. [WE WILL CARPOOL FROM THERE] The drive takes about an hour and we'll chip in for gas to the drivers. ~ WE WILL HEAD UP FOR THE GAME AT 5:00 PM ~ Please be on time... Game time is 7:05pm This stadium only holds about 8000 people so all the seats are fairly close to the action and much cheaper than going to Petco Park in all respects. (Beer, food, etc.) INFO and Website:
http://www.stormbaseb.... Regular prices for seats run $8-$10 and we'll buy them there at the ticket windows. Parking is $5. NOTE: If we get 25 people to go, the box seats (best) would be $7.50 instead of $10 or reserved seats (cheapest) $7 instead of $8. _____________________________________________ From the website: The Diamond is a state-of-the-art baseball park that is continually voted as one of the finest parks in all of Minor League Baseball. The park has 6,066 fixed seats, luxury suites and a grass berm seating area on the right field line - allowing over 8,000 fans to take in a night or afternoon of Storm baseball. The Diamond Club restaurant, located within the park on the left field line, opens one hour before game time and is open to all fans during games with a restaurant-style menu and full-service bar. The Diamond Club Terrace overlooks left field and is also open to fans during games with access to the Diamond Club menu and a tiki-style bar. Directions: From Highway 15 North, exit Diamond Dr./Railroad Canyon Rd. Turn left on to Diamond Drive and follow to The Diamond in Lake Elsinore. From Highway 15 South, exit Diamond Dr./Railroad Canyon Rd. Turn right on to Diamond Drive and follow to The Diamond in Lake Elsinore.

Love the new free hats we all got. The weather was perfect and the game was terrific till the Lancaster team scored 7 big runs to crush The Storm. Wonder how the 2nd baseman for the Storm is doing after getting hit in the neck by that throw from the outfield?

Call or text me who will be carpooling to the game on game day. The temperature at game time is expected to be very warm, dress appropriately. There is also a pregame blood drive for those who wish to give blood that night.
