See a Play The Blood Countess

Cost is $10.50 Dracula wasn't the only one in Transylvania with a taste for blood. Countess Elizabeth Bathory, aka "The Blood Countess" was perhaps the most prolific female serial killer of all time, accused of torturing and murdering hundreds of young women and bathing in their blood to retain her youth. DangerHouse Productions brings the notorious lady back to life in time for a Valentine's Day horrorfest. In Kevin Six's world premiere play The Blood Countess, a group of young women travel to her castle to hold a massive rave in Bathory's honor, only to find the infamous Countess waiting for them. This one-of-a-kind new play challenges the audience to confront their dark sides, using multimedia, a live DJ-provided soundtrack and of course, lots and lots of blood to draw the audience into their twisted world. http://www.goldstar.com/events/san-diego-ca/the-blood-countess

The play was fun, funny, creative, well acted and very entertaining. I'm glad I went and enjoyed meeting the other three from the group that went. After the play was over, we all mutually agreed it was definitely a fun time!

If my schedule would have allowed it, it would have been fun to hang out afterwards. Hopefully next time we can plan for that!

Hey all! It looks like you can't get tickets through Goldstar anymore for tonight's show. Not sure if they sold out or it's past their deadline. If you want to get tix at the door I think they are $15. Or you can buy them through DangerHouse Productions' page on Facebook for $13 It will take you to a shopping cart page where you can pay with credit card or via PayPal. Here's the link. Hope to see YOU tonight!

Okay. My friend said they have snacks at the theater and he wasn't familiar with what is in the surrounding vicinity.

Let's just plan on meeting at the theater. Inside in the lobby area. I will send out a note to confirm everything closer to the date. But for now... I will get there at 7:00pm. If everyone else can get there by 7:30 we can then just go in together and choose our seats.

    Sounds fun!

Thanks Jafar for helping Alex out! I'm not typically into the horror genre either. My friend who is in the play was able to convince me to go out of my comfort zone on this one though.

I'm brand new to my role as organizer. I like the idea of meeting up before the show. I will find out if there is a coffee shop nearby or if the theater has food and drink. I will send out and post details when confirmed. Would you want to meet around 7:00?

Looking forward to meeting you Alex and Jafar!

Horror theater is not my normal cup of tea, but I'm curious to check out this venue. Bought my ticket. Alex, just purchase your ticket and show up. It's simple. Usually the organizer sends out instructions (phone, signs, etc.) how to find each other.

The show is General Admission, so if you buy a ticket and we meet up before the show, we can sit together.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
