Public invited to power plant demolition in Chula Vista this Saturday

This is more of an announcement than a meetup but those who know me and plan to come out, please message me your # ? I'll call and we'll meet up and catch up ? I plan to be there a bit earlier than 6:30AM to hopefully get a parking spot. You never know about these things, sometimes the whole world comes and sometimes no one cares. Message me your # if you are not sure, once there I'll call.

Adrianna: Thank you for the pictures. There was no group photo that I know of.
Sheila: Some people will always b*tch no matter what you do. Post what you want to do.

Yes Adriana we did have the group shoot. So sorry we missed you, but you weren't the only one that missed it. My Meetup groups were: The San Diego Photography Collective, All Things San Diego, Go to Events Nows North San Diego Photography Collective, & San Diegans Who Care About The Environment.

Thanks for the pictures Sam. I would have gone deep into the park to where you guys were but I was a bit concerned with my car parked illegally at a business.

TR: I was still on 5/W J St tramp at 6:30AM, figured I'd be wasting time inching into the park then out, found an employee of the month parking spot at a business 1/2 mile from the entrance on Bay Blvd, got to the entrance at 7AM and scrambled to get what I could. Nowhere near the choice spot Adrianna got but here is the youtube video of the demolition:

All my pictures are taken after the demolition. While wondering around, I found myself in the invited guest area which had a nice breakfast spread. I hope the trip was worthwhile to those who came.

I didn't post it here in order to avoid complaints from those who are already on the 2 photo groups and all things san diego. Those folks get the same info sent to them from each of those groups by email. Then they complain they get too many emails about my events. It is hard to please everyone. Anyhow the only thing I will be posting here regarding events would be my hikes.

Thank you, Sam. I will try for the Park first, then the mall. Hopefully I won't miss the 2-minute explosion trying to find a parking space :)
Looking forward to seeing your pictures on the photography site.

The Bay Front park parking lot opens at 5am. There is a big shopping mall on Broadway between H St. and I St. that is a little over 1 mile to Bay Front Park. That would be an option to meet at and much easier to get out of. Just an Idea. I am going with the photo group but wanted to share the info.
