Sunday Fitness Brisk Walk 5.4 miles- Get OUT & active!

Come exercise your body as well as unwind your mind on this 5.4 mile social fast morning walk along beautiful Mission Bay. Last time most everyone had fun and we had multiple requests for more of them on Sunday mornings.


We start from the MBay Visitor's Center off Highway 5 just at the Southwest end of Clairemont Dr crossing over I5.

Come away from that TV and your easy chair, come out stretch those legs in the fresh morning air? Some people from other groups will be there...  Most people will go the total about 5.4 mile brisk walk to South Shores and back.

We usually see many shorebirds and wonderful views, some sailboats and paddleboarders or rowing teams, very enjoyable sharing the stimulating outdoors exercise experience with our lively group.

Hungry? Have BYO snacks ready for a possible little picnic there afterwards with your new friends if you like to watch the other exercisers go by for while.

Dress appropriate for the weather/temperature (any rain cancels) and wear very comfortable walking shoes. Bring hats, sunscreen, a smile, bottle of water, snacks, maybe a new joke ( I need some new material ).

Meet on the south side of the Visitor's Center building by the newspaper vending machines by 8:30am! We start walking South soon after so you may have to run to catch up if you are late.
