Really just getting into it. About the most I've done so far is exploring random neighborhoods. On drives I like to go off the beaten path (state highways, dirt roads) stop and take photos.
I'm open to anything, just about. I have a fascination with old abandoned buildings. I love the American Southwest in general. I like mountains. And old, rusty things.
Depends. I seem to find myself in situations where I'm a "reliable support staffer" to the leader. Sometimes I lead, sometimes I'm quiet. Every group has its own dynamic and watching that is one of the most interesting things about the meetups.
Hiking and roadtripping are in a tie for my favorite thing to do.
I love roadtripping the Southwest with no plan, on side roads and state highways. When I get too tired to drive I sleep in my truck and continue the next day. A drive to Flagstaff can turn into a 2,600 mile drive... you never know. Spontaneity rocks!
I like the road less traveled. And if there is no road, go anyway.
Because the people rock and the hikes are always exciting.
