John Taylor Gatto, Eric Fromm, Howard Zinn, George Orwell, Naomi Klein
Nonfiction mostly, read a lot of how-to books about comedy, biography, history, psychology.
I do love to read, to write, to think. Like people who read and are iffy about those who don't, shows a real lack of curiosity in the world. Also practicing to become a stand-up comedian, that ain't no joke friends!
Very pleased, my kinda group. Indeed, I find people who read are curious people, they are seekers and searchers who like to explore the world of words and ideas. I love hearing about all the interesting books folks are reading, the themes and issues, the forms of creative expression and the individual opinions and insights gleaned from our encounter with these elements. I enjoy the spirit of generosity present in the group along with the safe and open exchange of thought here.
