Hi. I'm the Executive Director of the Radius Center, a non-profit hub and event destination. Originally from Massachusetts, I moved here in 1989 with my job and decided to stay! My daughter and grandson live here in SA, so I'm stickin' around!

Thanks for the warm welcome jim you will be sure to see me at some of the F.A.C.T events they seem to be good topics and some thing that I can learn about another person point of view on them get a different perspective widen my view of scope
There are so many topics to discuss today that it's hard to pick just a few. But here are some broad topics: science and techology and their impact on society for good or ill; how history keeps repeating itself, also for good or ill; the status of the middle class in the U.S.; and I'm sure there are many others. What about you? What are some of your favorite discussion topics?
Hi, Jim. I think an opening get-together would be a good idea so everyone can meet and get an idea of things they'd like to do. There are all sorts of free lectures in town, at Trinity University, St. Mary's and elsewhere. Also the Mind Science Foundation and World Affairs Council have great lectures, but there is a charge for them. I'm sure the other members of the group will have some great ideas. Karen
Hi Jim, welcome to the Nature Hounds! Hope to meet you, Ginger & Latte soon!
