This is a great chance to get to meet and visit with other Nature Hounds as we walk on the paved trails alongside the San Antonio River. The trails are almost 100% shaded and usually have a nice breeze making it a very enjoyable walk. It is also away from the "tourist" part of the Riverwalk. It is an "out & back" walk, so you can walk as little as you'd like or stay with the group for our usual 2 1/2 to 3 mile journey. The walk will start in the parking lot near the San Antonio River Authority in the Historic King William area. From Durango Blvd: Turn south onto Main St and continue to the fourth street on the left (Guenther). Turn left on Guenther and the parking lot will be on the left. Try to arrive a little early to allow yourself time to get the dogs ready.

GOOD TIMES!! This was our first time on the Riverwalk meet-up and We enjoyed it very much. The La Tuna Grill has great burgers, it was a perfect way to end the evening. Thanks to everyone who organized and participated. Were looking forward to next time!

Itwas FABULOUS. The walk could not been on a more gorgeous evening. The people were great, the dogs were wonderful. The dogs played in the fountain. It was awesome. Thanks so much for putting it together. Can't wait for the next one.

I am so sorry we won't be able to attend this one. I now work @ the Apple store @ North Star Mall and have to work that night. Thanks for planning the event Kenny. We hope we can make it next time.
