This hike is not for everyone, we are going to do the Hillview trail at a moderate pace, please make sure you and your dogs are in physical shape to complete the walk. Let's push ourselves and get a workout in :)
Let's start walking at 9am sharp. We'll do the outer loop (Hillview/Red Oak) at a moderate pace, but we'll take a couple of short water breaks along the way. We'll do it counter-clockwise and knock out the hard part first. We'll get our heart rates up and burn some energy off those dogs and some calories off of us!
Please bring plenty of water for you and your dogs, and wear good hiking shoes. The total distance will be about 3 miles.
Although this is a workout/hike, there is a place half way through part one that you can cut out if you've had enough fun which is about a 2 mile hike. So there are options depending on how much time you have available and how spunky you feel that day.
