San Diego Compassionate Communication will be offering a class on Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as part of a larger event, the Celebration of Compassion.
The Celebration of Compassion runs from 12 noon to 4:30pm and includes a number of dance, music and art activities for kids and adults. Attendees can choose whatever they like from many different activities. See the flyer or the Celebration of Compassion website for a schedule of events.
Special attractions will include a Native American blessing, rappers on compassion, dances by Caravan of the Lost Road, African drummers and elementary school students singing, signing (ASL), and playing the guitar!
NVC Class: 2:40 - 3:30pm, teacher Michele Terry. The class will include an overview of Compassionate Communication and will include elements of a Way of Council.
