"The Rabbi's Cat" at Landmark Hillcrest

Cat Lovers and Toon Lovers : this is for you:)

"The Rabbi’s Cat tells the story of a rabbi and his talking cat – “a sharp-tongued feline philosopher brimming with scathing humor and a less than pure love for the rabbi’s voluptuous teenage daughter. Set in Algeria in the 1930s, an intersection of Jewish, Arab and French culture.” Co-Director Joann Sfar is an award winning filmmaker and one of France’s most celebrated comic artists"-Cartoon Brew

Movie starts at 7:20. I am coming from N. County, so I can't get there much earlier. Maybe some would like to meet for dinner/drinks/coffee first or after the movie.

Le film était très mignon. The movie was very cute. ..... And it was also lots of fun going with you to the chocolate store kiddiecorner with the excellent ice cream. Too bad they only made cups with up to 3 flavors.

Chocolat was awesome-best gelato, and it would be great to try the dinner menu, too!

Thank you Susan, and everyone out with us tonight. I liked the human animation greatly, the representations were very similar to last years' "Chico and Rita" but when they left Tangiers for the trek to Ethiopia, I lost the thread multiple times and examined my eyelids frequently. I'd see it again but on DVD on the small screen when I can interrupt it often.
