What are some of your favorite Arthouse Movies of all time?

I just recently saw "The King's Speech" and really loved it. The significance of the King's courage to speak to his people and take a stand in World War II was so very profound and presented well in this movie.

What famous movie character best describes your personality?

I have to think about this before answering. I like people. I love history. I enjoy seeing comedy films and adventure films too--so which film character best describes me is hard to say.

Who is your favorite Actor, Actress or Director?

I like Meryl Streep (of course) since she always does a great job in portraying her characters--whether the Danish woman in Out of Africa, Julia Child, or even the divorced woman in the comedy "It's Complicated."

Natalie Strombeck I studied history and political science at Stanford Univ. (way back when) and do enjoy seeing films that are meaningful and well done. I also like comedy, mystery films, adventure, and documentaries with good photography.
