Any plans this Saturday? Then come out and enjoy the day with doing something fun and exciting. here's the agenda:
10-12 indoor rock climbing (www.solidrockgym.com)
12-1 Healthy Lunch
1-3 hiking (2-5 mile round trip) Mission Trails (http://www.mtrp.org/trail_map/trail_map.asp)
you don't have to do all three, but it is a start.
I know I'm crazy, but I love the feeling of being physically active.
ROCK CLIMBING 10-12p.m.
Rock climbing is $14 and rental gear is included with the fee. The gym is going to give us that special deal for being a large group of climbers. I've climbed before with just a harness and my tennis shoes.
Oh and the price is good for all day, so if you want to come back to continue climbing after the hike you can. Just show them your receipt. I would think you're crazy, but just wanted to let you know that you can.
The Gourmet Bagger Sandwich Shop
3357 Rosecrans St (2.20 miles from the gym)
Mission Trails Regional Park
One Father Junipero Serra Trl, San Diego (11.43 miles from lunch)
Trail Map: http://www.mtrp.org/trail_map/trail_map.asp
We can park at the Visitor Center and hike the San Diego River Trail (2.6 miles - moderately challenging) It's a category 4. There are several other trail heads in the same location so depending how we feel we can take any one of those trails from easy to challenging hikes. We can decide as a group at the trail head.
If there are any other suggestions or favorite trails, then please let me know.
If you don't want to do all three activities but just one or two, then you can meet us at the location desired at the specific time frame, but please let me know. We leave no man or woman behind.
