North County AngularJS Discussion Group

By popular request, this month Scott Mathson will be giving an "Angular 101" talk introducing most of the main concepts and answering any questions that people might have along the way. This is a great chance for anyone who is just getting interested in Angular to learn the basics and ask some questions.

--

The North County AngularJS Discussion Group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at Walmart Labs in Carlsbad.

The format is an informal group discussion sparked by a quick presentation on an Angular topic by one of our members. Feel free to come with any questions that you'd like to pose to the group. Attendees typically have a wide range of experience with Angular, so please don't be afraid to join us if you are just learning or curious.

That was amazingly good. Well written presentation, interesting information, and "magical" code. ,o)

Scott's presentation exactly hit the mark. Excellent choice of what to cover and really a skillful job of delivering the material. I've gone from Angular being some abstract concept that I've got to learn one day, to something I'm impatient to start working with this afternoon. Thanks very much Scott and WalMart Labs.

Great presentation, thanks for all the time you put it in for preparation. Also, great space for the meetup - thanks to the person responsible for making it available.

I'm going to probably be 23 minutes late. Will I miss too much; will it not being with coming if I'm that late?

    May 27, 2014

    • Scott M.

Yeah you'll miss the majority of the presentation in that case. Up to you if it's worth the drive, I'll be posting the slides and demo app up after the presentation.

I'll pass this time then. I actually really wanted to make it to this one because I'm still starting out with angular. Meh, oh well.

Just a reminder, Walmart Labs does not allow alcohol on the premises so please do not bring any beer to the meeting tonight. We always shoot over to Pizza Port in Bressi Ranch after the meeting to keep chatting and enjoy some drinks. Thanks!

Any word what the presentation will be?

    May 23, 2014

    • Scott M.

Hi James, I meant to beat the announcement out with some details but missed it. Sorry about that. By popular demand, I'll be giving an "Angular 101" presentation walking through all the major concepts and hopefully answering questions along the way.

Excellent! I don't know much about Angular but want to learn.
