Valentine's Vegan Meetup for Singles

Hosted by Victoria Ross of Captured Dreams and Mark Crouse of Wild Mango.
Admission is your favorite Vegan Chocolate Bar. Bring 1 bar for getting in.
We are limited to 35 Chocolate Lovers, and are putting this out to 3 groups.
Victoria Ross is known for her expertise in creating mixers that allow you
to get to know each other in a comfortable setting.
Starting at 6:30pm there will be mixers. During this time we will be cutting up the chocolate bars, and placing the pieces of each bar in separate containers with numbers. At 7:15pm we will give each person a scorecard, and taste each chocolate and rate it on a 1-10 scale. Since there will be only numbers, you as tasters won't know which brand is which. We will announce the results at the end of the evening.
Casa De Luz is located at the North Park sign on University Ave. Parking is available for a flat rate of $5 across the street in a parking garage, or on the street if you can find a space.

Joann, I'm glad you didn't feel it was the atmosphere of a singles event, because it was a singles event. Victoria is very good at making singles feel comfortable and allowing people to get to know each other in a very non-threatning atmosphere.

Nice group of people and good information on vegism. However, as a "singles" event...it wasn't! It's too bad it was listed as such as it detracted more people from coming.

Hi. Looking forward to tonight's event. Curious to know as well how many people have signed up overall. Also, will there be any snacks or anything at this event besides the chocolate? Just wanna know if I should eat something beforehand! Thanks!!!

Hi Joann, in case nobody replies i am pretty sure that anything beyond chocolate is covered by ourselves. The event is being held at Casa De Luz which has foods, snacks, and drinks for us to purchase. We will be eating chocolates so that may hold you over. :)

Does bringing in the chocolate bar cover the cost of dinner too?

Hi Steph, I don't know why they are not responding to you. The chocolate bar does not cover the cost of dinner unfortunately.

You don't have to be ready to date yet. It will be a great way to make new friends.

I agree but I find "singles" stuff when I'm not really looking to be stressful - I think it's the introvert in me! I'm hanging out with some close girlfriends and eating (vegan) pizza instead ;)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
