Vegan Crêpes Night at Fabrison's French Crêperie (Little Italy)

Join me (Reenie) anytime between 5:30pm and 9pm to enjoy fresh vegan and vegan gluten-free crêpes at Fabrison's French Crêperie in Little Italy.  I'll be hosting during that entire time, but don't feel obligated to stay! ;)

Vegan French Crêpes? And now, week #2,  we will also have Vegan Gluten-Free French Crêpes made from buckwheat flour as an option, too! Thought this day would never come? Me too! But with a little vegan sorcery and a few hours in the kitchen with the crêpe chefs, et Voilà! Vegan French Crêpes!

While they're not on the menu, the owner has agreed to let me host a "Vegan Crêpes Night", so here we are! You will have a special vegan menu of sweet & savory crêpes to choose from, sweets at $10 and savories at $12.

They will be served fresh, made-to-order, just like in a regular restaurant. So people will order off the menu just as they would at a restaurant. You're welcome to make reservations, too, but it's not necessary. Bring whomever you'd like to join you. The more, the merrier!

Parking is usually free at meters after 6pm in San Diego, so keep your eyes open!

PS: In the comments section below, feel free to post when you might be swinging by!

So nice to get out. With a few more touches, the crepes can be perfected, but they were pretty good. I'm kind of digging the idea of a sweet crepe with "cheese" in it- crepe Suzette?

can coconut oil be used instead of smart balance?

Roger, I think everyone here is probably aware of the fact that crêpes are not exactly the healthiest food out there, and I don't think anybody is going to suddenly become an unhealthy person by consuming a fraction of a gram of trans fat (even Earth Balance even has any at all, as you imply; technically it could have just shy of half a gram per serving and they can label it as 0 grams, but I can't say I know if it's actually 0 or just under .5 grams per serving). You did raise our awareness of the fact that you came to an incorrect conclusion about food you don't know anything about, though, by comparing the quality of the crêpes you've never had to the food at IHOP, and you've also raised our awareness that you can't be bothered to read people's responses because you keep posting the same things even after others have pointed out the errors in your "facts" or reasoning. I'd recommend putting some more thought, research, and consideration into what you post on here in the future.

Eric Kaiser, so I maybe have been wrong on Ihop because it is the first general chain restaurant I could think of. So if consuming under .5g transfat (per serving, so is that 1/5th of a crepe?) is fine, then consuming that amount of butter is fine too? There are 3 camps of vegans - 1) for health reasons 2) for animal welfare 3) both . I want to make sure camp 1 and 3 are not being duped. Ethiopians have a staple in their diet that is basically a large crepe and happen to be some of the fastest marathon runners in the world... high glycemic foods can be healthy if the calories are used quickly.
