Welcome to San Diego's Outdoor & Indoor Yoga. The purpose of this group is to practice yoga, meet like-minded people, find other things we can do together. I believe yoga is for everyone, but asanas should be individualized for a particular person's needs and abilities. So ANY BODY is welcome to this group: experienced and beginners, supple and rigid. Integral means whole, universal, complete. Yoga means union. Ha means Sun; Tha means Moon So Hatha means the union of opposites, balance. Hatha refers to the physical branch of yoga or asanas (postures) There are many styles of Hatha yoga, like Bikram, Swaroopa, Iyengar etc. But they are created by a particular personality, a particular yoga teacher. I believe that yoga is one, but expressed in as many ways as there are yoga teachers on Earth.
