Hello -

This is a tennis meet up group for

  • experienced and active players
  • with 15+ years tennis playing experience
  • who rank 3.0, 3.5 or 4.0 according to the USTA Self Ranking Guide (see below).

All games take place in Sherman Oaks at private courts. If you are new to the group, the court location will be emailed to you once you RSVP for your first match.

The fee is $2.00 for doubles and $3.00 for singles.  The fee will be collected in person prior to the match.  Please bring 1 can of new tennis balls too. White soled tennis shoes are required as black soled shoes scuff up the courts (unless they are black shoes specifically for tennis).

As of January 2012, doubles matches are played Sundays and Tuesdays.  Singles matches are  every other Monday.

Your next step is to determine your self ranking, review the list of scheduled matches and sign up according to your experience and ranking.  On the event pages, you will find more detailed information about how the matches are run.

Finally, please consider your skill level and experience carefully before RSVP'ing. In order for the games to be fun yet competitive, players need to be on the same level.
