From SF....Take the golden gate bridge north. Exit Alexander Ave and turn left under the freeway. Follow signs toward Marin Headlands. Parking lot road on left. From East Bay...Take Richmond Bridge to Sir Francis Drake. Exit there and go straight to 101. Go on 101 towards SF. Exit Alexander Ave, last exit before bridge. Go towards Marin Headlands/Parking lot west...

You may be able to park at Vista Point for more than 4 hours..

Nicholas, just a question about the meeting location... Are you talking about the main parking lot in the north end (with 4-hour time limit), about the little lot on the west of the bridge, or...? The map above actually shows the south end of the bridge, so I was confused...

I would like to hitch a ride too. Have a question. Is it allowed to park your car at the BART station (without actually catching a train) on weekend?

I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this, but I would prefer it if the Bay Area Young Sierrans formed their own meetup group, like all the other subgroups of the Sierra Club on Meetup. That would cut down the number of meetup notices that don't apply to alot of people who don't fall into this age group. Hope that makes sense....

I think there is a way to piggyback off one Meetup account to save costs.

Hi James, I am leading a hike @ Las Trampas near Danville the same afternoon, 2-6 p.m. It is open to all ages. Not posted to meetup yet but it's on the Sierra Club calendar.
