I had a very nice time yesterday afternoon, thanks to Nicholas & other co-hosts & hostesses. Nice getting to know a few francophiles (Doan,Pierre,Sylvie) & former Bruins. Plenty of good food, drinks, & fun games.

Likewise Bruce, I joined francophiles in the hope of learning a new language but so far too intimidate to show up! It was a pleasure meeting fellow Sierrans, hanging out together on a beautiful day at Lake Anza. Looking forward to future outings!

My rider flaked. I would like to carpool from SF, either as a driver or a rider. Best way to contact me is 415.652.8322. I live in outer Richmond but can meet drivers on the western half of the city and riders along an east-west corridor. I have room for 3 others, 4 if we're cozy.

I"m thinking it will be warm up in Tilden Park tomorrow so please bring a water bottle or two for yourself and remember to bring a potluck dish that can feed 6-8 people. Also if you want to bring a blanket to sit on or camp chair and board games and sporting equipment that would be fun!

(Runs every 45 minutes) Take the bus into Tilden Park, and get off by the Merry Go Round/Lake Anza stop....The stop is on the left side of the road... www.actransit.org Walk down Lake Anza Road about 0.5 miles to the picnic area on the left and parking lot..
