Meet the "Rebels" and Celebrate 90 Years of Conservation

As a part of our 90th anniversary celebration, the Sierra Club San Francisco Bay Chapter is presenting a unique screening of "Rebels With A Cause: How a Battle Over Land Changed the American Landscape Forever".

Along with seeing a stunningly beautiful documentary about the saving of a key portion of the Marin coast, you'll visit with writer/producer/director Nancy Kelly and with Huey Johnson, one of the activists featured in the film. You'll also get to hike to the site where the 'Marincello' development would have been!

The film depicts the environmental battle that led to the creation of the Point Reyes National Seashore and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Huey Johnson went on to co-found the Trust for Public Land and to found the Resource Renewal Institute. National Park Service ranger Roxi Farwell will lead the hike.

Tickets are $75 per person. Please RSVP and purchase tickets at The reception will feature hosted appetizers, wine, and cheese.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
