Can offer rides from Livermore or Dublin/Pleasanton Bart Station (this is the end of the line, NOT: West Dublin/Pleasanton).

Can anyone offer me a ride. I live in North Beach, SF. Can meet anywhere convenient? Bart station? Would love to help with gas costs. Please message me if you can help.

Still looking for help with transportation. Anyone in SF that can help?

      May 7, 2014

  • Ernie C.

I recommend that all hikers be there by 9:45 so that we can all leave at Ten. Everyone has to complete the sign in sheet and liability waiver and I have to spend a few minutes discussing trail safety and the hike route.
It is my desire to leave as close to Ten as possible.

I might not be able to make it by 10AM. If the groups leaves right at 10, then I might not be able to make it.

@Geoff — great! thanks! which one is more convenient for you/the hike?

      April 28, 2014

    • Geoff G.

Honestly, it's pretty much six of one, half a dozen of the other. Dublin is slightly closer. It really depends on what line you will need to be riding and which one gets you most efficiently to the East Bay. Take a look at the BART maps and see which one works best for you. It really doesn't make a difference to me. Here's my number. (925) 786 5304. Text or call when we get closer to the date and just let me know what time and where.

Beautiful route! Does this include the Sycamore Trail?

    April 24, 2014

    • Ernie C.

Minta, We will hike either the Sycamore or Loop trail sections. Both are about the same distance and elevation gain. The difference is that one has more exposure to the Sun (better views). I will decide on the day of the hike. The Sun can be intense depending on conditions that day.. Ernie (Hike Leader)
