Some portions of the hike are strenuous. Hike is 7 miles long, with total elevation gain of almost 2,100 feet. Pace will be moderate. See trail map of our route at . Meet at 10:30 a.m. and return by 4:00 p.m.

CANCELLATION: Any rain cancels.

BRING: lunch and at least one liter (2 standard bottles) of water; hiking boots are recommended.

MEET: 10:30 a.m. at main entrance to Las Trampas Park, at the end of Bollinger Canyon Rd.

DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy. I-680, exit at Crow Canyon Rd. in San Ramon. Proceed west on Crow Canyon for more than a mile, then turn right onto Bollinger Canyon Rd. Follow Bollinger Canyon Rd. to its end at entrance to staging area.

Looks like there's a large shopping center off 92 just past the junction with the 101:... We could meet in the parking lot outside the Starbucks. Can you e-mail me a number I can reach you at so we can co-ordinate?

Anyone from the Mountain View / Palo Alto area want to carpool? I'm equally happy to drive or ride shotgun...
