Thank you for getting all this info for us, you are great!  I am all for checking out this new dog park in your area.  What sounds good to me is that you said it's fenced in, since my Sophie likes to wander off to go exploring.  So my vote is "yes".  Thank you.

Oh, one more thing. The public transportation to the dog run is also very good. The T and N Muni lines will leave you at 4th and King Streets, one long block away from the dog run. And I think there are a bunch of other buses in the neighborhood. I'm not sure what the public transportation policy is on small dogs (maybe if you're carrying him a bag, it might be okay). You should probably check with Muni. And, of course if you have a service tag for your dog, you should have no problem taking him on public transportation.

If you plan to drive your car, there is parking on Berry Street, but mostly on Channel Street.

Again, nothing has been decided yet about changing the meetup location. I'm just trying to give you guys as much information as possible so you can decided which meeting place you would prefer.
