I am Jim. I have previously written 5 books - 3 technical and 2 fiction. It's been a while since I last wrote a book and I want to get back into writing the kind of stories that I would want to read.
At least 1 hr per day. I write either in the early morning or late at night.
I have written a lot of technical but I like to write fiction. I like writing stories that I want to read and I am a voracious reader.
I am satisfied with the 5 books I've written and have been published. Three were technical books. Two were books that I wrote on a dare to prove that I could do it. Am I happy with them? No.
improve and finish some of the writing projects that are in process.
Yes. Quite often. What gets me to move past the writer's block is that I have 86,400 seconds in a day. None of which can be banked for the future. How sad would it be not to get all the stories out that I can in the time that I have on this Earth. Also, writing and story telling is a form of immortality because its through your thoughts and words that you can influence generations. Wouldn't we all want to have that immortality.
We’re lucky to have a colleague of Pibram in our group. It’s quickly shaping up to be a great group.
We’ll try to get a meeting on the calendar for April. What days are best for you?
Thanks for becoming an AutoHacker. We're excited to collaborate with individuals, including yourself, possessing varying levels of experience, expertise and insights into solving common automotive dilemmas. Hope to see you at a few events!
Look forward to connecting with you.
Welcome, Jim L (Magritte)! Hope you can make our next meetup. Love to hear about your books.
