Demo Forest -Corral and Sawpit Ride. Int. Level Ride

It's been a little while since we rode demo, so let's get to it. Hopefully we don't get crazy rain between now and then that closes the road. If we do I'll change the location. However, assuming we don't have that happen we'll plan to ride up to Cusacks then down Corral and back up to do Sawpit. If we keep a decent pace without lots of breaks we'll consider climbing back up for Braille.

I will have to keep track of time though as I can't be out all day.

Let's get out for a great day at demo and enjoy some awesome trails and good times. It's likely one of my last rides for awhile so I hope to see some of my old friends out for this one.

Great ride but we did have a rider go down with a possible clavicle fracture. He was a trooper though and his buddy took him to go get it looked at. He's tough and I'm sure will be back on the trail shortly.

Thank you Travis for walking his bike out of there and for everyone's help and patience. He has fractured clavicle, no surgery needed...4 to 6 weeks healing time with sling.

Wow, as bad as a clavicle break sounds its waaay better than a dislocation. We wish him a speedy recovery and will see him I'm sure in a month or so. Take care!

Here's to a speedy recovery. Despite the injury causing some down time we were lucky he could walk out, it was at near the end of the trail and we had some good weather. It was good to ride with everybody. Travis, I look forward to seeing your mad skills out there again soon.

Bike is in the shop. Broken derailer and wheel bearing disintegrated. Arg, need a backup bike.

Anyone open to having the group breakup near the top of Ridge after doing Corral? Maybe just do Braille right after instead of Sawpit? I think I only got enough for 2 sections (damn that Filipino food). Those that want to go for more can possibly do more loops with Tosa. What do you folks think?

Alright Vinh, I'll TRY my best to not turn this into a jumping session like last time we were out here.

But if your bike accidentally falls off the jumps, that would be alright.

Sorry to hear about that man! I was out for 4 months , but I broke mine in 5 places so I needed bone graft too. Hope your crash was not as bad.

Will do. As soon as I'm hosting rides again I'll try for that one.

With 3 organizers and lots of experienced riders, I'm just opening up the waitlist. Plus it's normal that at least half the people drop out last minute.

I love Demo during winter time, but I agree with you about the rain. Hope it doesn't make the landing areas of the jumps too sloppy.....for those of us that will attempt them of course.
