Santa Teresa Park: Technical but Relaxed Pace

It's rare that I'm down in SJ during the week but I have a late afternoon dentist appt. Rather than sit in commute traffic for the journey home I'd rather grind it out in the nearby hills. We'll climb Stiles and then up the Rocky Ridge single track to the top before reversing course.

Although this is a technical trail due to the rocky nature of the hills I will rate this as an advanced beginner ride based on the my climbing pace.  I'm more of a slow and steady turtle and have not mastered the finesse of clearing the single track climb of the ridge.

As always the county parks require use of a helmet. Beyond that prepared with water and a spare tube (It ain't called Rocky Ridge for nothing) and if you have knee and elbow pad why not bring them.

Current conditions have all trails open at this time but there may be rain

on 3/9 or 3/10.  Park conditions can be obtained at [masked] option 7 then 4.

    Is this still a go?

Yes this is still a go weather permitting. Rangers shut things down at the slightest bit of rain but I'll keep an ear to their recorded hotline that day and post back on this board if there is a change.
