Re: [SC-WP-Meetup] amazing job opp

ahh it would appear that the email I sent this morning did not go out to the list:

Hi Frances (and Jason) ((and paul)),

You are totally correct and I owe everyone an apology. I was trying to imply that this is a high skill level position. It clearly came off as a disaster.

I hope that the vibe of my last email does not poorly reflect on the group.

As for recruitment, I am open to forwarding or not forwarding opportunities. If the group would prefer we kept them off list, I see no problem with that.

Shane, you have good reputation at NextSpace. I hear you're a good guy, but
I was also offended by your attitude. I'm sure it was not your intention to
offend. In fact, thank you for bringing those opportunitites to our attention.
I just wish it had been done more respectfully.

And yes, there are A LOT of slackers out there, but I DID go to the first
meeting, and let me assure you, not a slacker in the bunch. In fact I did
meet a themer there by the name of Jason. How much "ass"  he kicks
I don't know...

Not trying to pile on here man, just want to second what Frances said
and maybe help you tweak your communication style a little.
Let's all be respectful of each other.

Shane, I'm deeply insulted by the disrespectful tone of this post and the
suggestion that you're far too busy to have to tolerate slackers like us.
Have we had a history of wasting your time? I don't think so, especially
since we have no history of any kind.

I don't know who you think you're talking to or why you need to establish
your superiority, but barking "don't waste my time" like some Hollywood
movie mogul awash in favor-seekers is neither appropriate nor appreciated.
No one but you is seeking anything, and I assure you no one has any
intention of wasting your time.

I wasn't able to make it to the first meeting, and a message like this one
makes me wonder whether I'll want to be at the second.
