Introduction
I'm a lifelong activist for liberty & justice with experience in a number of cities over 35 years.
Briefly, tell us why you are joining the Santa Monica Tea Party and what issues are most important to you.
I joined to add my voice of opposition to out-of-control government (at every level, not just Federal,) and to assist in de-electing RINOs - the corrupt middlemen who pretend loyalty to liberty but who remain committed to the advance of collectivism. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ A vital issue is to recapture American education from the vestigial collectivists who've been given control of it, by default, by the RINO herd. What that means is a total separation of education and state, as opposed to the Gingrich/Romney school of technocratic tweaking. If you have entire generations of kids indoctrinated in "green"-ism and taught the Howard Zinn worldview as history and as government, it is irrational to expect anything but goose-stepping collectivists to emerge on graduation day. Electing better politicians is important, but pointless if the American people are steeped in anti-humanism and collectivist ideology. Education is the root of our socio-political culture, and it's got a cancer.
