The Roundup meetings are focused on sharing our writing in more depth. Bring something you'd like to get feedback on. It's a chance to get feedback on completed short stories, a series of poems, or excerpts from novels, non-fiction books, or screenplays. The length can be anywhere from 1 to 12 pages. If you're submission is longer than 12 pages, we can't guarantee the whole submission will be read, depending on the number of attendees and amount of submissions. After reading the work of writers who submit, we'll then have an opportunity to provide feedback to each writer.
Please bring one copy of your work which can be read within 15 minutes (anything from 1 page up to about 12 pages, double spaced, 12 font). Please bring a pen for notation on the work you read of others.
(FYI: The Porter Memorial Library asks for a donation for use of the the space. They suggest about $10 per evening which breaks down to about $1-2 per person, depending on the number of attendees.)
