Come to our New Year's Eve Party

                                   New Year’s Eve Bash

The Best Place for You to Celebrate the Close of 2013

Hosts Fred Gansky (LA Singles Society) and Bob Levine (Club 6025) invite you to celebrate a very special evening filled with great entertainment, dancing, beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and enthusiastic revelers.

Our venue will be The Sportsmen’s Lodge Hotel & Ballroom in Studio City (12825 Ventura Blvd, 91604). I’ve gone to countless great events there over the past 35 years. It’s centrally located in the San Fernando Valley, within a half hour drive from the Westside, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Westlake & the west Valley, Pasadena, Burbank and Glendale, and the Santa Clarita Valley. Two years ago we sponsored an event there that pulled in over 250 people! Doors will open at 7:30

We are very fortunate to have The Steve Waddington Band for our entertainment. They are one of the best groups that we have ever used. They last played for us at our Labor Day Weekend Party at the Mediterranean Express in Encino in 2012. They will play from 8:30PM until 12:30AM. Steve is a consummate entertainer. Not only will his group do lots of your favorite dance numbers, but Steve will thrill you with his favorite impressions of Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, and Dean Martin, etc.

If you want to get a feel for what you are in store for copy the following in your browser:

From Rat Pack to Rock ‘N Roll, I’m sure you will really like them.

A complete three-course dinner includes:

The California Sportsmen’s Salad: Organic Baby Greens, Point Reyes Maytag Blue Cheese, Candied Pears, Baby Heirloom Tomato and Champagne Vinaigrette.

Main Course: Your choice of Pan-roasted Chicken with Lemon Herb Sauce, Scottish Salmon with Dill Sauce, or Grilled Rib-Eye Steak rubbed with Latin Spices; all served with seasonal vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes.

Dessert: White Chocolate Mousse with fresh Raspberries.

Warm rolls and butter, coffee, water, iced and hot tea will also be served. And, just before midnight we’ll serve a champagne cocktail for your New Year’s toasts.

All other drinks are extra: Soft drinks and bottled water $3, Beers: Domestic $6, Imported $7, House wines $7, and Mixed drinks $8-10.

Valet parking is $10, but as long as there are spots available, self-parking is free. Other free parking can be found on surface streets adjacent to the Lodge.

The cost for the evening will be $75 for a single person, $70 per person for two people (one payment of $140), and $65 per person for tables of 10 people (one payment of $650).

Because we need to prepare in advance for the correct number of each entrée, there will be NO TICKETS sold at the door. All reservations with payment should be made by midnight, December 26. We will try and accommodate reservations after this date until midnight, December 30, but we cannot guarantee your choice of entrée.

This will be the best New Year’s Eve party in town, so please, make your reservations early before we sell out. Payment can be made by going to, or by calling me, Fred Gansky, at[masked] with your credit card information, or by sending a check made out to Harkitt Corporation, 4145 Nogales Dr. Tarzana, CA 91356.

Remember, you will need to give us the names of the people in your party as well as their Main Course selection when you reserve and pay for your spots.

Thanks so much to all of you who might have spread the word about our event. As someone said last night, "You knocked it out of the park!" We probably had the best overall event around! More than 400 people showed up. Hope to see the rest of you next year. Fred

As of[masked] we had 91 people who had paid for the New Year's Eve Party. Remember, we are promoting to many other Meetup groups, singles organizations, dating coaches, matchmakers, etc. We are just starting to turn on our promotional efforts which we think will mushroom over the next three weeks. So, if you are inclined to go, please sign up and pay soon. We have a capacity of 330, but from my experience with this location two years ago, we could easily sell out.....and soon!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
