We had a great time but leaving early was a bad idea. We got lost and were walking through the adjacent neighborhood for at least an hour. A nice lady in a car from another group rescued us. Saved us from another hour or more of walking down to Sunset and back up to Los Liones. Won't ever leave the group again! Lesson learned. But had a great time with you all! How does one play music, sing, and hike??? Was fabulous, really enjoyed the music!

A great feast with lots of fun. The moon was a little shy and didn't show up until after we went downhill, but we celebrated the full moon Friday 13th in great style. Thank you, John!

This will be my first hike with this group. Are hiking shoes recommended or are tennis shoes sufficient?

    June 13, 2014

    • ! That JOHN G.

This is such a short hike you could probably almost do it with flip flops from the 99 cent store... Tennis shoes would be fine... Although hiking shoes would be a little better...

Hi, is anyone coming from the SGV or downtown area that would like to carpool? I've been wanting to go on a full moon hike but hesitant due to traffic and the difficult parking situation.
