TUNA CANYON; 4 1/2 mile HIKE - 3 MEDICINE CIRCLES and SUNSET / FOOD AT FROGGIES
GORGEOUS hike overlooking the ocean with 3 "Medicine Circles" and terrific scenery... the catch... there's only approx 18 parking spaces, half of them are typically used by the locals.
SOOO.... we'll have to carpool and caravan from the NE corner of PCH and Topanga Canyon.
4 1/2 MILE HIKE, 1,000 foot elevation change....
DOGS ALLOWED ON LEASH!!
Be at the CARPOOL location at 2PM, we'll get people in cars and hopefully leave by 2:10-ish
We'll figure out a carpool location if there are any Valley people.

DID the carpool math... we can make it work if the following people drive and fill up their cars:

it'll be EASIER for the drivers if everyone drives to the CARPOOL location (PCH and TOPANGA / on the map) and we cram everyone into cars there. (unless of course people are close to you and you don't mind picking 'em up)

To clarify.... Everybody's driving to PCH and TOPANGA and were leaving most the cars there, cramming everyone into 8 cars and caravanning from there... Pretty easy stuff...

If there are enough people from the valley side that want to set up their own caravan location, I suggest the side of the road just north of FERNWOOD as we'll be passing FERNWOOD on the way to the hike

Valley People... I was originally thinking of creating a separate carpool area for you guys so you wouldn't have to backtrack, but creating 2 separate groups to converge would be rather difficult unless everyone knew the area EXTREMELY well... I'm gonna be off-line most of today, so I think it would be a lot easier if everyone just met at the original place... PCH and Topanga, NE side and up the street a ways, and we crammed everyone into 8 cars there... THANX!!!

I agree with Lynda :). That's why some people keep one (not too fancy) car for hiking kind of trips, and another car for other activities ;)

theres a 100 yard stretch of parking on Topanga, north of the gas station on the NE corner.... just like the nifty map indicates
