Armond, thanks for the music, and this one's for you: "I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy
today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead,
tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and
I'm going to be happy in it."

Another fun day hiking and dining with friends. I had a great time, even without the carrot cake that I craved for, after our beach gathering. John, thank you for organising memorable outings.

RAIN OR SHINE!!! and... since it's been raining the last couple of days... we'll take a vote in the parking lot and see if y'all would like to do HALF of this hike, and then do the WATERFALLS hike at Solstice Canyon afterwards... ( it's actually on the same road )
