Would you like to have a specific topic of conversation for a hike?

Many hikers for instance work in the Tech field on the Westside. Would you like the conversation during the hike to be about Tech (Commonality)

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN HAVASUPAI FALLS / GRAND CANYON IN APRIL???

PASSES go on sale in February and I was wondering how many I should get. We'd be going for a Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in mid to end of April.

ANYONE INTERESTED IN SEDONA ARIZONA AROUND MID APRIL???

It would be a 4-5 day trip (8 hour drive from LA) and people could drive up either Wednesday or Thursday or Friday and stay Thru Sunday. Hiking would be fairly easy... and you'ld have the option to do a JEEP tour, helicopter tour, or visit Jerome, a quaint old mining town turned artists colony during one of the days. THOSE OF YOU INTERESTED IN THE GRAND CANYON MARCH OR APRIL

There's limited lodge accommodations down in the canyon... but a LOT more possibilities if we were to CAMP. I've done it twice and it was fantastic. There are plenty of "porta-potties" and everyone bathes (using bio-degradable soap) in the river; OR a couple people brought "home-made showers" which are available at a couple local sporting goods shops as well. PART of the group could do lodging, part of us camping... there's a 1-2 mile distance from lodging to camping area. Lodge people will have to hike to the camping area each day because the trails start there. Camping would be $160 cheaper based on 2 per room and $80 cheaper based on 4 per room (2 nights) CAMPING is not crowded and temperatures should be NICE.

WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED IN HIKING THE GRAND CANYON IN MARCH OR APRIL???

THIS is an AWESOME; ONCE IN A LIFETIME kind of hike... it's 12 gorgeous miles DOWN the canyon to the river with SEVERAL waterfalls. Slideshow of the scenery: http://picasaweb.google.com/hikingla/HAVASUPAIGrandCanyon#slideshow/5257069677389117218 and it's, of course... 12 miles back UP the canyon... I was thinking 4 days (Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sunday) Day 1) fly to Vegas / rent a van / drive to Peach Springs/ visit the Cavern 1/4 mile down the road / stay there the first night / have a beer on the Firetruck out front Day 2) get up early, drive an hour to the trailhead / hike the 12 miles / check into the lodge / frolic the rest of the day Day 3) play, swim, play, swim, play, take photos Day 4) hike the 12 miles up the canyon, drive back to Vegas and catch our flights back home THERE IS AN OPTION TO RIDE DONKEYS UP AND/OR DOWN THE CANYON, PLUS YOU CAN HAVE YOUR LUGGAGE CARRIED BY THE DONKEYS ALSO! estimated cost: Van, Hotels, Entrance Fee, Donkey luggage = $275
