"Pick Your Own Pearl" & Beach Day in Redondo!

Hi Santa Monica Socials,

Girl alert! There's a jeweler at the Redondo Pier that sells pearls in oysters allowing you to "PICK YOUR OWN PEARL". The idea is you pick an oyster, they crack it open, and out comes either a 'regular' or 'rather large' sized pearl. The size and color of the pearl will depend on the luck of the draw. If you're really lucky you may even get twin or triplet pearls in 1 oyster! It feels much like a jewelry lottery. The oyster costs a little under $17 and every oyster is guaranteed to have at least one pearl inside. You can then have the pearl set in an earring, a pendant or anything else of your choosing. Setting the pearl costs anything from $10+ (plus tax).

After the excitement of our pearl adventure we can plan on having a BEACH DAY at Redondo Beach! Even though this event is flagged with a major girl-pearl-alert, that's no reason to exclude any boys wanting to join and enjoy this day trip to Redondo Beach.

There is a parking structure on 100 W. Torrance Blvd., Redondo Beach, CA 90277. Parking costs $2 per hour. If anyone wants to car pool I am leaving from Marina del Rey around 12:15pm. Let me know!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
