Weekly Wednesday Night surf meetup.
STARTING WEDNESDAY MAY 8th.
Surf at 26th Street Manhattan Beach (by Bruce's Beach), then head over to Sharkeez MB nearby for food and drinks. We may or may not stick with Bruce's Beach this year depending on how the sandbar is, we may move to Porto or Venice.
We usually get a deal from Sharkeez to give us extended happy hour deals along with some potential free apps/pitchers, we're currently working on that so TBD what we'll get this year.
There's a metered parking lot off 26th Street that usually has plenty of parking on Wednesday evenings and some street spots if you can find it.
Most people arrive between 6-6:45, but some people come earlier and some come later depending on traffic and when they get off work so we usually just meet in the water.
Be aware that the parking lot technically closes at 8 and they'll sometimes give tickets. As long as you get to your car by 8 you're totally fine and usually they're not strict about giving tickets right at 8 but just be aware. When the sun starts setting late it'll be light till like 8:30, I've gotten a ticket or two myself : (
