Come join the Surfrider West LA/Malibu chapter and The Daily Ocean for the 6th annual International Surfing Day on Sunday, June 20.
International Surfing Day is a global event with hundreds of cities participating around the world. It celebrates the sport of surfing and is intended to help create awareness for the sustainability our our ocean resources. We've got an amazing day planned and the event is open to everyone. We'll have:
-Beach cleanup competition with great prizes, giveaways and free food -Free surfboard and wetsuit rentals courtesy of ZJ Boarding House (http://www.zjboardinghouse.com) -Free Firewire (http://www.firewiresurfboards.com) surfboard demos to try out courtesy of Arbor (http://www.arborcollective.com) -Special live performance by La Vie (http://myspace.com/lavieband)

If you live in or around the Westside, South Bay, etc. and you surf, sign up! Everyone is welcome from groms to gramps. Meetups usually range from Trestles to Malibu, but can go as far as you are willing to drive/fly. Lots of great people and always a fun time.
