Thanks so much for sharing a wonderful evening with us last night

Next year we will have our first cultural Event with guest speaker Yuri Costa and Brenda Montalban (she will marry a Cuban named Israel on December 21, 2013. Brenda will give us the insight on that prospective). They are letting us using the place for free no charge. Very nice of them and we can fit up to 200  + people.  You can send us an email if you would like to go and I RSVP for you. Details below:

The organizers Lourdes Helena & Saundra Sage

We will explore the wonders of Cuba We will also get to know many people from Cuba living right here in Sarasota.

No charge for this Event/Meeting bring your smile :] Tuesday January 21 - at 7 pm

8521 Vamo Rd, Sarasota, FL 34231 - At the Fellowship Hall

Perhaps in the near future we will visit Cuba let us know if you want to go there next year.

Lourdes Helena Gallagher[masked] or Saundra Sage[masked]

If any of you would like to talk about your country please let Saundra and I know so we can arrange the month and the place to do the next Cultural event.

Meanwhile if you want to try the Cuban cuisine they cook a wonderful homemade meal on Sundays evenings!  I get together with them every Sunday at the same location I usually get there at 7:00 pm and they serve dinner at 830 pm (very European dinner time) No charge for the meals either however you have to let me know so I can tell the chef (cook) to make extra meals.  The majority of the people who attend the service are from Cuba (some are from Ecuador)  Yes they are Christians and they are the most wonderful people I ever meet.  I am 1/2 Jewish and 1/2 Christian it is a long story I will tell you later in my house we celebrate both Holidays.  They invited us for the Christmas Dinner at 7 pm on December 24, 2013 (I hope I can go - even if I go on a wheelchair I can’ t guarantee I will be there) my family will be there.  Some of you know my daughter Rachel Hannah she will be there so it is a familiar face. So if you are alone in this Holiday season we would love to see you there.  My family (3/4 Italian descent and 1/4 French) always have the house full of people every weekend (35 people +)  My mother always said the more the merrier.

We wish all of you a wonderful Holiday Season, I hope to make it (from the surgery lol) and meet all of you soon!
