King William (Social) Paddle

Let's get out for a relaxful afternoon and paddle the San Antonio River in the historic King William area. Join us anytime (we'll be starting @ 1) being as this section is less than a mile long and it will be easy to find us! We'll paddle around, take in the scenery and visit for awhile. This is a very smooth section of water and is PERFECT for beginners and also a good place to try out that new piece of equiptment.

There is construction on S. Alamo near Guenther, so I would advise using one of these  alternate routes:

If coming from the northside, go south on IH 37, take the Cesar Chavez exit,

Turn right on Ceasar Chavez.

Continue on Cesar Chavez to Main St.

Left on Main to Guenther.

Left on Guenther to the river.

         OR

Go 35 south to S. Alamo St.

Left on S. Alamo to Main St

Left on Main St to Guenther

Right on Guenther to the river
