This is funny...at the shootout after some runs Kelley approaches me and asks me if I have turbo on my bike because at high speed a high pitch or noise comes out... well...lol, I truly wish I had turbo, NOS, etc. to make the bike faster, but the truth is that something wrong is with the bike, really : If some body can help pls do:

In my way back from the track, on IH10, I opened the throttle hard about 3 times and noticed that from 7,000 rpms to the redline, it revs very quickly making noise but with no power or acceleration, it feels like a gear is skipping, one of those times when this happened, the front tire started to shake and that was scary, had to ease the throttle immediately.

Today on 35 south, tested the bike again and nothing happened. I am not a mechanic, but my best guess is that something is wrong or is about to happen. I have pushed the bike to hard lately in trying to know its limits and trying to get the best out of the bike.

I truly hope I don't have to do an expensive repair.

Can somebody tell me what can be possibly wrong ?

your cluthes are slipping.....happens at higher rpm ...because there is more horsepower being transfered to the rear wheel.....easy fix...set of clutches and springs..less than 99. bucks...easy install...

Thanks, Gerard... forgot to mention also that when I rev the bike to the redline, which is 12,000 rpms, if I keep opening the throttle the rpms don't go higher than that, when it hits the red line it snaps back to 11,000 rpms and makes a high pitch noise which I think that is the " turbo noise thing", I think is the governor that that avoids to go to a higher rpms,( top is 14,000 ) so it prevents engine damage.

Please advise

Thanks

Cool bike..have no idea how much that upgrade is, but it must be expensive. I want to get the best out my bike the way it is before doing any mods ( I got this bike on ebay on April 2009 and is completely stock ).... instead may be a ZX-14 would be nice... would be nice to get some 9's..
